Highlights
Location: Near historic Shibden Hall
Dining: Extensive menu featuring traditional pub food
Menu Options: Gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options
Bar Area: Spacious setting with a good selection
“The inn presents a mixed experience, with dining receiving higher marks than overnight stays. While the food and service appear to be strong points, particularly the carvery, some rooms reportedly need attention. Ultimately, it seems best suited for those prioritizing a good meal over luxurious accommodation.”

soft beddated rooms
The bed acted like a trampoline. Far too soft for any serious attempt at sleep. Towels provided looked more grey than white. They also came with a certain aroma I could not quite place. I'm glad I brought my own. The rooms look rather dated, clearly yearning for a refresh.
